Do you have a new pet that isn’t house trained yet or perhaps you’re taking care of a friend’s pet who is house trained but has gotten a bit confused being in a new home and ended up leaving some pet stains on your carpet?

We have a great little cleaning hack to remove those pet stains using items you can usually find in your home.

What you will need:

  • Baking Soda
  • Vinegar

* Be sure to follow the steps below and add on the items in the exact order that we explain or you will end up with a huge additional mess on your carpet.

Pour enough vinegar to soak the stain and then add a small amount of baking soda, if you hear a crackling noise then you have done it right.

Leave the mixture to dry onto the stain for a day or two and then sweep it up and vacuum any of the dry mixtures that may have remained.

How this works is the vinegar loosens up the stain, even if it is old while the baking soda absorbs it all up.

If the pet stains seem to be too much for this quick mixture to handle be sure to give your professional carpet cleaners a call at 604 674 4367 or book online at
