Leather Upholstery cleaners and conditioners are quite pricey but thanks to this great Homemade solution you won’t have to spend much money the next time you need yours cleaned.

Be sure to always do a sample test on a spot no one will notice as some types of leather such as unfinished and suede do not take kindly to this homemade solution.

What will you need?

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 10 drops lemon essential oil (for scent)

Mix the olive oil and white vinegar into a clean jar, cover it up and give it a good shake.

If you want to give it a scent, add a few drops of lemon essential oil or whatever scent you prefer.

Dampen a cloth in the mixture and wipe down the entire piece of furniture.

Afterwards, use a second piece of cloth without anything on it to dry any of the mixture that may not have seeped into the leather.

Be sure not to over do it with the adding of the mixture as you are just cleaning the surface.
